Pantry Makeover

The pantry impacts everyone in my household every time we go to eat or cook. A messy pantry can be a turnoff and can lead to food waste especially if you can’t see what you have. But an organized one, one where you can see and find everything, grab what you need quickly gives me a feeling of peace and joy and makes preparing food feel easier. It also inspires my family to make healthier choices! All of the products I used are from target and amazon and are linked at the bottom of the post!

STEP 1. Remove everything from the pantry. Throw away expired food and donate anything that you’re not going to eat or drink. I was so surprised at how much expired food I had in my pantry just taking up space and creating clutter!

STEP 2. Clean your shelves.

STEP 3. Group similar food items together into bins, baskets and jars. I got rid of a lot of packaging and placed dried goods into glass containers to make it easy to see. Also, think about placing kid related items at eye level or below to make it easy for them to reach.

STEP 4. Add labels to glass jars.

I had so much fun doing this and am excited to offer this service to clients! Reach out if you’re interested in having your pantry done! Pricing depends on size and scope. I can even stock your jars with healthy staples to set you up for success! Turn key service is available!
